QUALIFYING (must read)

The Premier League is open to all MSDA members and qualifying will be conducted by round robin play by division.  Each division shall qualify separately.

A bracketing system may be incorporated using dart averages from either the MSDA Monday, Wednesday or Premier league where averages are kept if deemed required due to excessive numbers.

  1. The Winners of each division must attempt to qualify for the next highest division to remain eligible for other divisions. (Excludes Div 1)
  2. Players who have previously finished 6th place or higher in a division, must attempt qualifying for that division, to remain eligible to qualify for lower divisions. (excludes division winners)
  3. A qualifying entry fee of $10 per player shall apply for each qualifying attempt.
  4. All qualifying will be played on Friday nights and therefore may run over several weeks.  You must be present on the first night to enter and available for all weeks.
  5. All matches must be completed.
  6. A player who fails to complete all qualifying matches will be disqualified and ineligible to participate in any further qualifying for this season.

OPTION

Players who fail to qualify or where a division has not been formed, due to having less than the required 8 players, are welcome to format their own competition, but shall not be seen as a division of the Premier League.

OPTION

Players may be invited to make up the numbers to form a full division prior to the season commencing, and their acceptance is at the discretion of the players already forming that division. If numbers exceed available positions, a qualifier may be held for the available positions.
